Liverpool to spend £12m to fund improvements

Liverpool City Council has approved nearly £12m in funding for improvement, following its intervention.

Chief executive Tony Reeves has also been given ‘delegated authority’ to bump up the funding further, if necessary, in consultation with the new Mayor Jo Anderson.
