Most Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) staff have returned to their usual roles as the department’s efforts switch back to the domestic agenda.
In her newsletter, MHCLG permanent secretary Melanie Dawes thanked the sector for its ‘ongoing efforts’ getting ready for Brexit but said the extension of Article 50 to the end of October meant ‘we have some time before we need to stand up No Deal preparations again’.
