MPs accuse ministry of council funding 'complacency'

The Government has been accused of complacency over the perilous state of council funding.

A report by the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) was damning over the approach of the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) to closing a funding gap expected to exceed £5bn by the end of the decade.
