MPs press ministry to bring forward Shared Prosperity Fund

Local government secretary James Brokenshire has been urged to bring forward the replacement for EU structural funding.

Chairman of the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee, Clive Betts, has written to Mr Brokenshire following what he called ‘repeated delays’ to the consultation on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF), which will replace funds previously administered by the EU.
