Manchester City Council signs energy deal

Manchester City Council has signed a one-year contract estimated at £3.6m with Gazprom Energy to supply its energy.

The fixed-price term agreement covers the supply of 149 million GWh of gas to more than 350 council sites, including leisure services, offices and the majority of schools.
