Minister denies ‘criminalisation’ of rough sleepers

A minister has denied homeless people are being criminalised following laws allowing the deportation of rough sleepers.

Labour councils in London and Manchester have spoken out against the legislation introduced by the Government, which enables deportation of people with no recourse to public funds.
