Mitie withdraws from home healthcare market after loss

Outsourcing group Mitie has reported making a loss of more than £100m in the first six months of the year.

The local government contractor published its half-yearly financial report today, which discloses a loss before tax of £100.4m, compared to a profit of £45m in the same time period last year.
