Moray Council remains 'deeply worrying', says Accounts Commission

Declining services at Moray Council are ‘deeply worrying’, the Accounts Commission has claimed, after nearly a decade and a half of concerns about the council.

A public interest report into the council found that there has been a decline in services since a previous report by the Accounts Commission in 2015. However, the problems date back to a Best Value report in 2006, and the Cimmission has called on the council to increase its pace of change.
