More council energy firms are launched

Two further councils have launched not-for-profit energy companies in collaboration with Nottingham City Council as an alternative to the big six providers.

Nottingham’s wholly-owned, not-for-profit Robin Hood Energy has worked in collaboration with Islington LBC to launch what is thought to be London’s first local authority energy company in 100 years.
