My priorities as ADASS president

This week, I take over the reins of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, which many of you will know as simply ADASS. Throughout the next year, that question will be at the forefront of my mind and our campaigning as an organisation.

Margaret Willcox, who has been president of the organisation for the past year, has done a formidable job driving social care up the agenda and ensuring that it is not only at the forefront of politician’s minds, but the public’s too. She has been nothing short of fantastic and I hope to live up to the very high standards she has set.
