NAO warns ‘2020 deadline for integrated care at risk’

The Government’s aim of fully integrated health and social care by 2020 is at ‘significant risk,’ the National Audit Office (NAO) has warned.

Auditors claimed progress towards integration had been ‘slower and less successful than envisaged,’ and had so far failed to deliver the expected benefits for local authorities, patients or the NHS.
