National schemes don't deliver

It is good to see a debate beginning about devolution and the need to ensure that all of the cities of the UK have growth which complements that of London.

However, London’s growth can often obscure the fact that the high cost of housing and childcare in the capital and its ferociously competitive jobs market mean that many Londoners are not in work.
