Teinbridge DC’s chief executive, Nicola Bulbeck, will step down in June after fulfilling her duties as the acting returning officer for the General Election.
Ms Bulbeck has served as the chief executive since 2006.
A statement from the council said: ‘Her leadership and achievements during difficult and challenging times have made a significant impact local, regionally and nationally.’
