Non-disclosure will not affect whistleblowers

Whistleblowers will still be able to expose examples of poor practices at Liverpool City Council, officials claimed despite tough new non-disclosure clauses in staff contracts.

The council this week moved swiftly to dismiss suggestions that non-disclosure clauses inserted into all new employee contracts would prevent whistleblowers from raising any legitimate concerns about future local government practices.
