Ofsted criticises Reading for slow improvement

Reading BC is failing to improve its services to children and young people quickly enough, inspectors have reported.

A recent monitoring visit by Ofsted staff reviewed progress across the council’s looked after children’s service, with a particular focus on achieving permanent placements.
