Bexley LBC has come under heavy criticism from the Local Government Ombudsman after failing to make agreed improvements to school transport applications for disabled children.
While the council implemented some changes, the Ombudsman had said it still has ‘concerns about the council’s understanding of the statutory guidance’ and its role and duties in deciding transport applications.
