Party leaders told to 'stop talking, start doing’ on care reforms

The former head of a commission that recommended a cap on social care has urged political party leaders to ‘stop talking and start doing’.

Sir Andrew Dilnot, who chaired the Dilnot Commission in 2011, told a seminar today: ‘Most political parties are in favour of a cap but they just haven’t done it.

'There is a consensus but nothing has happened.’
