Pass on powers ‘or economy will stall’

Council leaders have reiterated their calls for more powers from Westminster, amid claims local government is at a ‘pivotal moment’ in its history.

A new report published today (26 March) by the County Councils Network (CCN) warned the UK economy could stall if more powers were not devolved down to county level.
