Pendle announces new chief executive

Pendle BC has announced it is expected to appoint Rose Rouse as its new chief executive.

Ms Rouse will take up the role in early autumn, subject to a vote at the authority’s next full council meeting.

Pendle leader Cllr Nadeem Ahmed said: ‘We were all impressed with her enthusiasm.’

Ms Rouse has worked in local government for more than 20 years, including as chief executive at Eden DC and corporate director at Worcester City Council.

She said: ‘I couldn’t be more excited about this fantastic opportunity.

'Pendle is a great place, packed full of potential.'
