Bristol City Council’s strategic director for place, Barra Mac Ruairí, is to leave the authority to become the new divisional director of design and development at YTL UK Development.
Mr Mac Ruairí has held his council role since March 2014 and has been responsible for transport, major projects, economic development, sustainability, energy, planning, property, culture and arts.
