Powys faces 'long improvement journey'

Powys CC has ‘much more to do’ to improve its children’s services, senior councillors have been told.

The verdict comes after inspectors last year found that the council’s child protection processes did not always comply with statutory guidance and children were at risk of sexual exploitation.
