Key sector figures have piled further pressure on the Government over the Housing Revenue Account (HRA) cap.
President of the Society of Local Authority Chief Executives, Jo Miller, said it was a ‘no-brainer’ while chair of the Communities and Local Government Committee, Clive Betts, said it was ‘nonsense’ that housing was the only type of capital expenditure capped in this way.
Chief executive of the Local Government Association, Mark Lloyd, said his organisation would 'keep pushing' on the HRA.
