Pressure grows to honour planning fees increase pledge

Councils have ramped up their calls for the Government to meet its commitment to allow them to increase planning fees by 20%.

The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) had said that it would increase flexibility by last month after five years of frozen national fees.
