Public health comes home

Last year’s reductions in Public Health funding allocations should not obscure the excellent work that is being done to tackle some of the biggest public health challenges facing our communities.

Each day shows local government is able to spend the Public Health pound often more efficiently than during the centralised system that prevailed prior to the devolution of this funding in April 2013.
