Public sector needs clarity on Brexit, says CIPFA

Public services need rapid clarity on Brexit so they can plan for the future, Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy chief executive Rob Whiteman has claimed. 

Speaking after the publication of the white paper, The United Kingdom’s exit from and new partnership with the European Union’, Mr Whiteman said: ‘The Government has clarified its position at high level, and so its next and more difficult challenge is to translate these objectives into proposals that are analysed, modelled and delivered.
