RBKC exodus in six months since Grenfell

Six months after the Grenfell Tower fire, nearly half of the ruling Conservative group of councillors in Kensington & Chelsea RLBC are leaving or being deselected.

Six have been told they cannot stand again including the only black councillor, Eve Allison. She has claimed she was the victim of ‘pseudo-racism, classism and elitism’ and made a complaint in June to Conservative headquarter against Julie Mills, chair of the Kensington and Fulham Conservative Association.
