Reform Right to Buy to unleash council housebuilding potential

A fresh appeal has been made to give councils a larger role in the Government’s housebuilding drive.

Reforms could help provide the funds local authorities need to expand their housing stock, former Local Government Association (LGA) chair Lord Beecham said in a House of Lords debate.
