Review to consider 'prescriptive regulations' post-Grenfell

The chair of an independent review of buildings and fire safety has assured MPs that she will consider the use of more prescriptive regulations post-Grenfell.

Dame Judith Hackitt, chair of the Independent Review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety, was responding to concerns about the scope of her work raised by the Housing, Communities and Local Government Committee.
