We’re all used to seeing politicians running for some office or another, but every Spring sees a host of local government luminaries dusting off their Reeboks* and trundling around all 24-and-a-bit miles of the London Marathon, running for charity.
This year was no exception. Amid the throngs of fitness fanatics, Westminster City Councillor Ian Adams galloped his way to glory in four hours and ten minutes.
