London’s mayor has called upon the Government to pay for remedial work on privately-owned tower blocks in the aftermath of the Grenfell Tower fire.
In a letter to communities secretary Sajid Javid, Sadiq Khan expressed concern about the ongoing dispute at Citiscape in Croydon, where residents have been charged £2m for the removal of flammable cladding.
