Local government is ‘invisible’ in the preamble to the Glasgow COP26 agreement, the sector’s representative at the international conference has said.
Speaking at a plenary yesterday, Cllr Pippa Heylings, of South Cambridgeshire DC, said: ‘The preamble to the Glasgow agreement is very important in encompassing the principles, the framework, the ambition and action needed to keep global warming under 1.5 degrees.
