Setting out our stalls ahead of the Autumn Budget

We are heading into autumn and this year is a first inasmuch as we no longer have an Autumn Statement but an Autumn Budget. Scanning the press, you can start to feel different parts of the public sector setting out their stalls in terms of the pressure areas they are experiencing.

At the same time, we see announcements from central government about funding we can bid for, such as community litter projects, housing infrastructure funds and bids to become business rate pilots, plus a call for the ending of public sector pay cap.
