Social care green paper delayed - again

The long-awaited social care green paper has been further delayed until the autumn after repeated Whitehall insistencies it was on track.

Health and social care secretary Jeremy Hunt yesterday said the green paper would now be published ‘around the same time as the NHS plan’ – a full year after it was originally due to be published.
