Birmingham City Council has been praised for its role in preparations for the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
CEO of the Games Organising Committee, Ian Reid, spoke of the council’s role in the work to get ready for the event despite time being curtailed, having stepped in as host after Durban in South Africa was deselected.
