Something to believe in

If you are a chief executive or an organisational leader, do your staff believe in you? The extent to which they do may be a critical factor in successfully delivering change and in avoiding the massive downsides associated with badly handled transformation programmes.

One of the biggest challenges facing councils as they embrace cuts and service reconfigurations is the uncertainty it causes. It creates turmoil – performance dips and people leave.
