Spotting opportunities

If six years of austerity and a looming reduction in Revenue Support Grant weren’t enough to worry about, the uncertainty caused by the decision to pull out of Europe might have felt like the outside of enough for many beleaguered councils.

It is still just as difficult to fathom what the full impact of Brexit will be for the country, but remembering the warnings from international organisations, coupled with the immediate drop in the pound and our questionable relationship with the European single market, the outlook looks bumpy at best.
