Storm over ‘biased’ guide to EU vote

Council chiefs were this week frantically checking their EU referendum guidance as scrutiny ramped up ahead of the 23 June poll.

A storm erupted after illustrated guides sent to postal voters by Bristol City Council and Swale BC pictured a hand with a pencil in it hovering over the ‘remain’ box on a voting slip.
