I grew up in a council home. I remember watching Cathy Come Home and the horror of seeing Cardboard City near Waterloo Station in the 1980s made an impact on me that I won’t forget.
Housing is my passion and the drive to ensure nobody suffers homelessness is personal. I have huge ambitions for Southwark’s service.
