Swindon Council has awarded Seven Capital the contract to develop its North Star site into a large-scale leisure centre. The scheme is worth £270m and is due to be completed by 2021.
Swindon’s cabinet member for regeneration, Garry Perkins, said: ‘This is a landmark development and a real statement of our economic ambitions for the town.
