Tackling fuel poverty

During August, the Government released its latest proposal on how to tackle the issues surrounding fuel poverty in the UK: Cutting the Cost of Keeping Warm.

The document sets out several new objectives which the Government will endeavour to meet, including effective assessments of fuel poverty and implementing ambitious targets for change.

The proposal also seems to have addressed the much needed definition of the risks posed to the health and social mobility of occupants that are fuel poor.
