Talks start over sharing chief executive

Talks on two neighbouring councils sharing a chief executive are to start ‘straight away’ after the managing director of one struck a deal to leave.

Cannock Chase DC last night agreed to make a ‘formal approach’ to Stafford BC about its chief executive Tim Clegg acting as joint boss on an initial 12-month interim basis.
