The District Councils’ Network held its spring assembly earlier this month. The theme was shaping the future and we took the opportunity to launch the Transformation in Localities toolkit which we commissioned on the recommendation of the District Councils All Party Parliamentary Group following its inquiry on devolution and collaboration.
District councils have been collaborating and transforming for years. It is in our DNA to nimbly adapt to the challenges which come our way – demographic, financial and political.
