Thomas to replace Quirk at Lewisham

The man who helped turn around Rotherham’s children’s services has been recommended by Lewisham LBC to become the council's new chief executive.

Rotherham MBC’s director for children and young people, Ian Thomas, was endorsed by Lewisham mayor Steve Bullock and a cross-party group of councillors to replace Barry Quirk.
