Timetable will plunge sector into 'crisis management'

Local government would be thrown into a period of ‘crisis management’ under the Government’s current fair funding timetable, Whitehall has been warned.

It emerged last year that the results of the fair funding review might not be published until weeks before the provisional local government finance settlement at the end of 2019.
