UKHCA wants less demanding contracts from local authorities

Councils need to provide less burdensome, long-term contracts to help struggling homecare providers, the UK Home Care Association (UKHCA) has urged.

The plea comes after national reports revealed 95 councils had contracts cancelled by homecare providers due to not being financially sustainable, with a quarter of the entire market said to be at risk of insolvency.
