Uncertain future for New Homes Bonus

Raising the baseline and withholding payments for councils without local plans are among a range of options in the Government’s consultation on the New Homes Bonus.

A host of options are being looked at for the bonus, which has been worth £9.5bn to the sector since its introduction in 2011.
