Warning over Slough's 2018/19 budget

Slough councillors have been warned of ‘inherent risks to the delivery of a balanced budget at the end of the 2018/19 financial year’.

The council has generated more than £4.2m of additional income through commercial schemes in 2017/18 but officers have warned this ‘represents a significant increase in the risk exposure to outside economic conditions’.
