Warrington Council’s Labour leaders have fended off demands for an immediate inquiry into its investments in Together Energy.
Opposition members called an extraordinary meeting of the council to push for a probe and vote of no confidence in Labour leader Cllr Russ Bowden and cabinet member for resources, Cllr Cathy Mitchell.
