The Welsh Government has pledged to work with local authorities in revamping council tax following a consultation to be launched next year.
Announcing the consultation plans today, finance and local government minister Rebecca Evans suggested that the initial focus would be on revaluation and existing discounts, exemptions and premiums.
She added more ‘fundamental’ reforms were unlikely in the current assembly term.
