Welsh council leaders have called for the integration of health and social care after the new local government secretary promised a ‘wider conversation’ about reorganisation.
A spokesman for the Welsh Local Government Association (WLGA) welcomed comments by Mark Drakeford that he was ‘not committed to any particular solution’ and wanted to ‘find a different way forward’.
